Meet Tayyba Shafaq

Tayyba Quran Academy started with a simple wish: to make learning the Quran easy for every Muslim, wherever they live. For 7 years, Tayyba Shafaq has taught Noorani Qaida, Tajweed and Tafseer to kids, ladies and adults.

Today more than 11K people follow her lessons on Facebook, and her live Tafseer series in Urdu has passed 30 episodes. Every class keeps the same promise: patient teaching, correct Tajweed, and one step at a time.

How Tayyba Shafaq teaches

Tayyba Shafaq believes that every student can learn the Quran when lessons are patient, clear and taken one step at a time. Each class starts with what the student already knows, then adds one new rule, letter or ayah. Mistakes are corrected gently, so students feel confident rather than nervous.

For children, lessons are short and friendly, with plenty of repetition and encouragement. For sisters and adult beginners, classes move at a comfortable pace, and no question is ever too small to ask.

Learning beyond the classroom

Tayyba Shafaq also shares her knowledge through the live Tafseer series “Quran Seekhna Asan”, streamed every night at 8:00 PM (PKT) on YouTube and Facebook. Every episode stays online, so students can revise lessons, watch with their families, and continue learning between classes.

What students learn with Tayyba Shafaq

Students at Tayyba Quran Academy can begin with Noorani Qaida, move on to Tajweed with Makharij and Sifaat, and then study the meaning of the Quran through Tarjuma and Tafseer in Urdu. Those who wish can also memorise selected Surahs or learn Arabic calligraphy.

Tayyba Shafaq keeps classes small and personal, so she can listen carefully to every student. Parents often share that their children look forward to class, and sisters say they finally feel confident reciting aloud.
